๐ Feast of Tabernacles โบ๏ธ
HAPPY Feast of Tabernacles!!!

Who's camping this year? My husband and I are!ย

So during this feast I'm meditating on Christ. Understanding that camping is not required under Christ nor does it grant justification before the Father, and nor is it a sin toย set up tents during this feast โบ๏ธ.... but its definitely a fun experience toย have a glimpse of how our ancestors traveled andย dwelled in booths (palm-leaf made tents made to the T as described in the scriptures every year).
I looked up the โTabernacleโ definition for a refresher:
1. a temporary dwelling or shelter, as a tent or hut.
2. a dwelling place.
3. the human body as the temporary abode of the soul.
4. any place or house of worship, especially one designed for a large congregation.
5. (often initial capital letter)the portable sanctuary in use by the Israelites from the time of their wandering in the wilderness after the Exodus from Egypt to the building of the Temple in Jerusalem by Solomon.ย
In Revelation 21:3 Christ is clearly our tabernacle;ย His body is our ultimate sacrifice, and I'm grateful for it. What are you grateful for this Tabernacles? Comment below!

My lord and I keep it holy and convocate on the 1st and 8th day with like-minded believers in Christ as commanded by the LORD in Leviticus 23.

The sacrificing we used to do as a nation, according to Leviticus andย the ordinances we had to keep to the T like the making of palm leaf booths every year is no more thanks to Paul giving us the sense in his texts such as Hebrews ch7-10 ...Christ yoke is easy.ย But I do wonder what its like to make a palm leaf booth instead of buying aย Walmart tent, lol. I may try it one day, who knows...if so I'll keep ya postedย ๐

I'm meditating on keeping my mind, soul & body; my tabernacle, holy. Even Peter called his own body a tabernacle (2 Peter 1:13), butย Christโs body is our ultimate tabernacle, all praises.ย

Christ died for us and his yoke is easy.ย Christ is our tabernacle; our house of worship. He is in us and we are in him. Halleluyahย ๐๐พ
