At the end of the Competition, Operator will donate twenty-five percent (25%) of the net proceeds generated from votes purchased to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that develops suicide prevention through research and advocacy, and provides support for those affected by suicide.

How long will voting be open for? There are multiple phases to the competition and Zemira Israel will only be competing within her specific group for the first few rounds. THE ELIGIBILITY PANEL WILL SELECT, IN ITS SOLE, ABSOLUTE, AND COMPLETE DISCRETION, WHICH ENTRANTS WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION AS COMPETITORS. Upon entry, Competitors will be divided into groups and advance to the initial public-voting round (individually a "Round" and, collectively, the “Rounds”). Subsequent public-voting rounds will progressively reduce the number of Competitors. In the unlikely event that one or more Competitors receive an equal number of votes in any Round, the Eligibility Panel will determine the Competitor who shall advance, based upon Competitor profile views.
***Votes will be reset only for the Wildcard Round, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and finals only. Help Zemira Israel get to the finish line!

Public Opening Act™ voting begins July 17, 2023 10am PDT.

✅ Top 20 (begins July 17th and ends July 27th) – Public voting will help reduce each group to the top twenty (20) Competitors.
✅ Top 15 (begins July 27th and ends August 3rd) – Public voting will help reduce each group to the top fifteen (15) Competitors.
✅ Top 10 (begins August 3rd and ends August 10th) – Public voting will help reduce each group to the top ten (10) Competitors.
✅ Top 5 (begin August 10th and end August 17th) – Public voting will help reduce each group to the top five (5) Competitors.
Group Finals (begin August 17th and end August 24th) – Public voting will help reduce total Competitors to one (1) preliminary winner in each Group Finals group who will then advance to the Quarterfinals.
Wildcard Round (August 25th and ends August 27th) – Competitors who took second (2nd) place in their respective Group Finals group will compete in a shortened round for a chance to advance to the Quarterfinals. Votes will be reset, and public voting will determine the top Competitor from each group who will then advance to the Quarterfinals.
Quarterfinals (begin August 28th and end September 7th) – The top Competitors from each Group Finals/Wildcard Round group will be divided into Quarterfinals groups. Votes will be reset, and public voting will determine the top Quarterfinalist from each group who will then advance to the Semifinals.
Semifinals (begin September 8th and end September 14th) – The top Competitors from each Quarterfinals group will be divided into Semifinals groups. Votes will be reset, and public voting will determine the top Semifinalist from each group who will then advance to the Finals.
Finals (begin September 15th and end September 21st) – The top Competitor from each Semifinals group will be placed in the Finals. Votes will be reset, and public voting will determine which the top four (4) Competitors in the 2023 Opening Act Competition (the "Fourth-Place Winner", “Third-Place Winner”, “Second-Place Winner”, and the “Grand Prize Winner”), on September 21, 2023. Competition results to be announced on or around September 27, 2023.

Shalom, beautiful Ztribe💎 and newcomers! It's me Zemira Israel, a singer songwriter with some impressive accolades that has lead me to this grand opportunity that I have been selected and chosen for. Wow! What an amazing opportunity this is for all of us really. I want to be Audacy's Opening Act's official 2023 winner out of thousands of contestants in this competition, all while supporting an event that sponsors spreading awareness of suicide prevention with AFSP (the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention), and celebrating hope in that we are all never alone, in Christ Yeshua's name through our Mighty God YHWH!

This kind of opportunity does not happen everyday...and I am so proud to be in a music competition that sheds light on the seriousness of suicide ad depression, as I do have a personal link to it, as I have had bouts of depression and suicidal thoughts in the past myself. Well, myself and my lord Bezaleel Israel would be the first generation of our family to own land here in America. We want to set up our family into a better financial and holistic position. Both my husband and I come from immigrant grandparents who came from the islands. My husband's family is from Puerto Rico, and mine from Haiti. I was born in Haiti, and I, alongside my husband, would use that money to help us buy land to better our family and create generational blessings here in America.
